Due to my additional work in animal shelters in recent years, I never get out of practice and can constantly expand my knowledge. Intro
Obedience
Basic training is important and an obedient dog loves to be led. With patience and affection, of course.
Loose leash walking (puppy 7 month)
Walking on a loose leash avoids stress and dissatisfaction. A relaxed walk is much more fun.
Food Aggression / Hand Feeding
Some dogs defend their food aggressively (food guarding). You have to take countermeasures before it comes to bite attacks.
Loose leash with soft correction
The focus can be redirected with small corrections.
Stay and Impulse control
Only if the dog does not break the given command, despite the distraction, has it internalized e.g. "Stay". Next level: "Stay" outdoor training.
